Gaylene Oesterreich is a dedicated and passionate educator who always goest the extra mile to help those around her. Two of my children have worded with her at Lincoln Elementary, and she has always been friendly and demonstrated clear communication. Gaylene helped my children reach their academic goals, gave constant encouragement, and instilled an excitement for learning. She is passionate about speech pathology and helping students overcome obstacles. Gaylene’s drive, caring heart, and creativity are evident in her strong work ethic. I truly am grateful for everything she has done for my children. Overall, she encompasses every quality a great teacher should have.
I had the best experience with Gaylene as my son’s SLP. My son, (6 Years old with Childhood Apraxia and a moderate speech sound disorder) worked with her through zoom and he absolutely loved his time with her. Looked forward to it even. She tailored every session specifically to my son and his speech goals. She also designed the therapy around his personal interests, ensuring that he was engaged the whole time. She made tele-therapy feel personal and special, because with her, it was. I can only imagine how top notch her in-person therapy would be. I would recommend Gaylene to anyone in a heartbeat, in any format available. She is one of those special people who is so clearly doing the job that they love. We felt so lucky to have her work with our family.

Wonderbus has been outstanding for my son. He has learned so much including behavior strategies and improving social interactions with his peers. His speech is improving as well and we have learned so many great home techniques to continue to help him excel. He really enjoyed the camp and looks forward to the Wonderbus coming to visit. This is an outstanding program and we look forward to all the upcoming programs and activities.
